31/8/23 - Internet - Online journals - As we’ve often written, online art-history journals - we’re talking here about journals publishing in-depth articles, not art-history and heritage information websites - are numerous, but complex to consult. Since they are generally not published on a regular basis, and in any case not very frequently (every three months at best, often every year), they are thus not very visible, as people don’t think to consult them. And because they can’t be leafed through like paper magazines, and are often poorly referenced, searching through their archives is often a complex task.

It is, however, an extremely rich source, and we have devoted a page to a review of the sites we know, many of whose content falls within the fields covered by La Tribune de l’Art.…
