With a view to publishing a Carnet d’architecte (Architect’s Notebook) dedicated to the architect Michel Roux-Spitz, I am looking for the architect’s private archives. I assure you of my discretion, and invite you to contact me at the following e-mail address: philippe.dufieux@lyon.archi.fr

Michel Roux-Spitz was one of the leading figures of French architecture in the first half of the 20th century, working between classicism and modernity on major public and private projects, including the Grande Poste in Lyon, the Central des chèques-postaux in Paris and the Hôtel de Ville in Saint-Nazaire. The architect became famous between the wars for his "white series" of buildings in Paris, whose elegance and refinement were unanimously praised by contemporary critics.
