The Musée d’art et d’industrie André Diligent-La Piscine in Roubaix recently acquired a painting by Félix del Marle, the first to join its collections, the effigy of a Jeune garçon au ballon, portrait de Jean-Pierre Dobelle, dated 1932 (see the news item of 14/2/24).

In order to document this new acquisition as fully as possible, the museum team is keen to find out more about the sitter, whose name is the only one known at present. It would also like to know whether other portraits of this type exist in Félix Del Marle’s output. If you have any information or documentation, please contact La Piscine at the following address: lapiscine.musee@ville-roubaix.fr.

Thank you in advance for your help.
