4/3/14 – Acquisition – Aix-la-Chapelle, Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum – En 2008, le Musée des Beaux-Arts de Pau avait acquis un beau tableau de Nicolas Pickenoy représentant Le Jugement dernier (voir la brève du 13/10/08). Nous écrivions alors que l’on ne connaissait que trois peintures d’histoire de ce peintre hollandais d’origine anversoise spécialisé dans le portrait : un Paris et Oenone (sur le marché de l’art en 1991), un Christ et la Femme Adultère, conservé au Musée municipal d’Utrecht et un Jugement dernier donc, ou plutôt plusieurs Jugements derniers puisque l’on…
