Artiste australien, Fox voyagea en Europe et fut à la fois influencé par sa formation académique et par la découverte des impressionnistes. Il étudia à Paris en 1887 à l’académie Julian, dans les classes de Bouguereau et Robert-Fleury, puis à l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts auprès de Gérôme; il travailla…
