Un portrait au pastel de la Comtesse d'Artois, par Joseph Boze, acquis par Versailles

18/5/11 - Acquisition - Versailles, Musée National du Château - Le 4 mai, Versailles préemptait à Drouot un tableau de François-Hubert Drouais (voir brève du 6/5/11). Quelques semaines plus tôt, chez Sotheby’s Londres, le musée national avait acquis aux enchères un autre portrait, un pastel cette fois, représentant la Comtesse d’Artois, femme du future Charles X (ill. 1), pour 37 250 livres (frais inclus).
