Un Crucifix attribué à Michel-Ange acquis pour le Bargello

4/1/09 – Acquisition – Florence, Museo del Bargello – L’Etat Italien s’est récemment porté acquéreur, pour le Museo del Bargello à Florence, d’un Crucifix en bois de tilleul, attribué à Michel-Ange (ill.), provenant d’une famille florentine non identifiée. Cette attribution, qui semble acceptée par la plupart des spécialistes italiens, repose uniquement sur des critères stylistiques, la sculpture n’étant pas documentée.
La seule œuvre en bois de Michel-Ange connue jusqu’à aujourd’hui est également un Chist en croix, beaucoup plus grand (139 cm), exécuté pour l’église Santo Spirito à Florence où il est encore…
