Deux fragments de panneau par Cosimo Rosselli acquis par la Huntington Library
13/6/18 - San Marino (Californie), The Huntington Library - Tous deux agenouillés, la tête levée, les mains serrées sur un baton ou une bannière, les deux saints étaient placés en miroir au pied de la Vierge, de part et d’autre de son trône, l’un jeune, habillé avec élégance, l’autre vieux, vêtu d’une simple bure. Saint Ansanus patron de Sienne et saint Antoine abbé, premier Père des Solitaires d’Égypte, ont été peints par le Florentin Cosimo Roselli-1559] vers 1470 (ill. 2 et 3).
