		<description>&lt;p&gt;The very recent arrival of Red Scorpionfish and Lemons on the walls of the Paris museum is a significant event in itself. As Jean-R&#233;mi Touzet has written, it is the very first Neo-Impressionist still life to enter the French national collections and the first work by Jeanne Selmersheim-Desgrange to join the institution whose first director was her granddaughter, Fran&#231;oise Cachin. Above all, it is an appealing composition (ill. 1), with its brilliant colours, that has joined a Neo-Impressionist gallery dominated by the second man in the painter's life: Signac.
