As part of my second year of a Master’s program at Sorbonne-Université, I’m researching the goldsmith and jeweler Lucien Gaillard. I’m particularly interested in his research notebooks, most of which are kept at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. These record not only the artist’s recipes, but also some of his thoughts, and allow us to discover new facets of him while developing new knowledge about his work.

I would be extremely grateful to anyone who could inform me of the existence of any work or document relating to this artist: photographs (family, store, studio, exhibition windows, works), letter, business card, invoice, drawing...
