More drawings put up for sale in Paris

30/3/26 - Art market - Paris - It would be inconceivable for the Louvre to let this album pass, put up for sale on March 31 by Wattebled & Portay at Drouot, which brings together fifty-two sheets from the Van Blarenberghe family, a dynasty of painters and miniaturists (ill. 1). Among them, three watercolor studies by Louis-Nicolas Van Blarenberghe (ill. 2) are directly related to the famous Choiseul snuffbox, loudly acquired by the museum in 2022 (see the article).
