29/11/24 - Obituary - François Duret-Robert died on 13 October at the age of 92, without having aged a day. Certainly because he devoted so much of his time to "his" students, to the point where he did not want to invite anyone else when he was made a knight of the National Order of Merit. Many of them attended his courses on art market law at Paris-Dauphine, Jean-Moulin Lyon 3 University, the Institut du Patrimoine, Panthéon-Sorbonne University and the Ecole du Louvre, including the author of these lines. Everyone will remember his slim figure, his haughty profile, his deadpan air and his bow tie, which he could tie with his eyes closed and demonstrate. He taught without notes, strolling around the…
