24/9/19 - Acquisition - Madrid, Museo del Prado - The Spanish State has acquired for the Prado Museum a large panel by Juan de Peralta, a Spanish painter associated with the International Gothic style. This Saint Christopher, signed at the top right and dated 1434 at the bottom, was exhibited at the last Feriarte (Feria de Arte y Antigüedades) in Madrid by the Ana Chiclana gallery.
