A new director appointed to the Mathurin Méheut Museum
1/8/24 - Appointment - Lamballe-Armor, Musée Mathurin Méheut - The appointment in July of Élisabeth Renault (ill. 1) as head of the Musée Mathurin Méheut in Lamballe-Armor brings to an end eighteen chaotic months marked by the successive departures of the two former directors in charge of the administrative and scientific sections respectively.

The first, Christelle Schweitzer, resigned on 1 January 2023 to devote herself to a new career as Director General of Services (DGS), which she has since embraced in Montauban-de-Bretagne, not far from the Musée Mathurin Méheut, which she took over at the beginning of 2019. The second, Mylène Allano, as reported in numerous articles in the local press, was laid off…
