3/12/25 - Acquisition - Orléans, Musée des Beaux-Arts - The year proves to be a rich one for the Gaudier-Brzeska collection at the Musée des Beaux-Arts d’Orléans, this reference monographic ensemble comprising part of the sculptor’s studio collection, which benefits from a dedicated room in the permanent display. Following the purchase of The Madonna a few months ago (see the news item of 9/3/25), one of the very rare known paintings by the artist, the museum has now acquired one of his bas-reliefs, the first to join its collections.
