Louvre employees urged to sign a letter supporting the presidency

Besieged citadel, as we explained in a previous news item, the Louvre is attempting to defend itself as best it can, rather poorly in fact, and has called on a crisis communication consultant. This consultant had the brilliant idea, after the offensive directed at other French and foreign museums, which led to the op-ed in Le Monde, to involve operational directors and department heads within the Parisian museum itself.

They were thus asked to sign a letter defending the Louvre, which of course primarily amounts to defending Laurence des Cars, the text of which they received is as follows:
